Wine:
The Montagny 1er Cru Blanc 2009 shows superb aromatic finesse. Grown on one of the finest terroirs of the Côte Chalonnaise, the production of the appellation is also exclusively white. Typical of this terroir, we find delicious hazelnut notes. A mineral touch accompanies a superb, refreshing, autumnal finish.Vinification:
Hand harvested, total or partial de-stalking depending on the vintage, fermentation in small vats and gentle pressing to guarantee optimal vinification. The vatting period lasts 12 to 15 days, aging from 10 to 18 months in oak casks, of which 60 to 85% are new.Color:
Limpid, crystalline golden yellow colour.Nose:
Subtle and generous on the nose, aromas of white flowers, dried fruit and citrus.Palate:
Immediately frisky on the palate, blessed with a generous aromatic range. Long and lingering on the palate, lovely finish stamped by a refreshing mineral touch.
