Sappy, full and spicy, it is the pride and joy of the estate.Vinification:
The grapes are pressed and vinified on site, in Mercurey, then the wines are taken to Nuits-Saint-Georges to be aged there. The cask aging, over a period of 12 to 14 months for this wine, takes place in 19th Century vaulted cellars that provide ideal conditions. These casks, that come from quality coopers, have been carefully selected for their fine grain and light toasting.Color:

Enjoy up to and including 2014Since its founding in 1825, the Faiveley family has devoted most of its resources to acquiring vines located in the best "climats". Today the estate is, in terms of surface area, one of the largest in Burgundy. Erwan Faiveley, the 6th Faively of the name, recently took it over. His sole desire: make "haute couture" wines.
