Located on the Via Aurelia - one of the five main Roman roads - Château Miraval has always held an important place in history. It seems that in 1252, Saint Thomas Aquinas stayed a few days at Miraval. Later, in the 16th century, the Prince of Naples joined the French court and settled there. It is from this moment that Miraval appears in the registry of the Noble Houses of France. In 1970, the famous pianist Jacques Loussier, who was the owner at the time, created a recording studio on the estate, the Studio Miraval. Many artists came to record their albums (Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries,...). Today, Miraval is Brad Pitt's summer residence, and he has turned it into a place dedicated to art in all its forms - music, cinema, theater, local gastronomy and great wines.
