The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A cornerstone of champagne excellence, awarded 3 stars by the RVF Guide, Louis Roederer Champagne House embodies, more than any other, the highest level of refinement among these sparkling wines.

Committed to organic and biodynamic farming for the past twenty years and driven by an insatiable pursuit of perfection, the Reims-based House has now achieved an absolute pinnacle, embodied in its iconic cuvée, Cristal, one of Champagne's greatest achievements.

A gem of the House once created for Tsar Alexander II, Cristal is certainly the most renowned champagne cuvée in the world, a cult cuvée, almost indispensable.
Wine As confidential as it is spectacular, the 2014 Cristal Rosé Champagne is born from a luminous year, where fruit and finesse have shone their most sovereign brilliance. The result of a generous and fully ripe harvest, marked by 55% Pinot Noir, Cristal Rosé 2014 reveals itself with abundant and subtly charming fruit, adorned with intense chalky purity. It offers notes of tangy red fruits (red currant, wild raspberry, blackcurrant), sweet spices, and smoke on the nose; the ample and concentrated structure carries these flavors in a whirlwind that bursts finely and gradually like bubbles of salt. Crafted for the long term, this great champagne on this vintage reveals a radiant fruit, and its length on the palate gives it unparalleled charm. Rated 97/100 by Wine Spectator, 98/100 by James Suckling.
Vinification Hand-picked, 1/2 from the Rivière vineyard and 1/2 from the Côte vineyard. 19% of wines are vinified in wood. No malolactic fermentation.
