The estate and the wine What a blessing! Domaine du Petit Bondieu is reviving the glorious days of Bourgueil and Chinon, charting an impeccable course on these terroirs. Based in Restigné, Thomas Pichet, practicing organic viticulture, captures the purest expression of Cabernet Franc.

Wine The 2022 red Bourgueil Petit Mont offers a marvelous price-enjoyment ratio and stands as one of the Loire Valley's hidden treasures. Its nose reveals highly intense fruit, ripe yet fresh, with a graphite and infused black fruit character. The palate has personality – it's a robust, juicy, and full-bodied Cabernet, with present tannins ensuring it can age gracefully for 5 to 7 years without any issue! A Committee Favorite rated 93/100.
Vinification Mechanically harvested, fermented for 3 to 4 weeks and aged in vats for 4 to 5 months before bottling.
