The estate and the wine |
Named the benchmark estate of Ventoux by Parker, Fondrèche has played a key role in elevating the reputation of wines from this region, with its wines ranking among the finest in the Southern Rhône Valley.
Grown on cool, limestone-rich soils and farmed organically, these wines are deep and characterful—reflecting the values of respect and precision that are so important to Sébastien Vincenti. |

Vinified without sulfur and aged exclusively in concrete vats with no oak influence, the 2023 Red Ventoux bursts with juicy, exceptionally pure fruit flavors. Grown on a stony terroir of flint and clay-limestone, the wine benefits from both natural freshness and the cooling influence of the nearby mountains. Floral aromas of rose and peony mingle with the smoky, savory notes of Syrah, leading into a velvety palate with impressive density and a perfect balance between freshness and the volume of ripe fruit flavors. A delicious red, equally enjoyable now or with a few years of cellaring. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee. |
