The estate and the wine |

A hidden gem in the Mâconnais, Domaine Croix d’Arbussin is set on prime limestone slopes, bringing out the best in Chardonnay.
Founded in 2020, this small, independent estate broke away from the cooperative system to make wines on its own terms. Under the care of Laurent Gobet, it produces beautifully pure, classically styled cuvées that deliver incredible quality for the price. |

From 90 ares of clay-limestone soils, the 2023 White Mâcon La Roche-Vineuse is a beautifully balanced Chardonnay—ripe, expressive, and complete. Floral notes and delicate citrus aromas lead the way, with a subtle mineral edge adding depth. Fresh and lively, this is a White Mâcon best enjoyed as an apéritif or paired with cheese within the next two years. |
