The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A story like no other. Rooted in Visan for four generations, Domaine de l’Argentière underwent a complete transformation in 2022.

Driven by a vision for terroir-driven winemaking, Stéphanie Cave and Johan Bartholin—who trained with some of France’s most esteemed vintners (Pierre-Jean Villa, Alphonse Mellot, Stéphane Sérol, Henry Pellé) and gained experience abroad—chose to refocus on a select few hectares of their family vineyard.

The result? Authentic, living wines, crafted with organic farming and a deep respect for nature, embodying the purest expression of their terroir.
Wine Sourced from high-altitude vineyards, the 2023 White Khrôma (Vin de France) strikes a perfect balance between richness and freshness. A carefully measured touch of new oak enhances its character, while a blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc brings both purity and vibrancy. The nose reveals crisp, fresh grapes, with notes of yellow fruit and a hint of bitter almond, underpinned by a refined mineral edge. On the palate, its precise tension and bright acidity are beautifully complemented by the generosity of Grenache Blanc. This wine promises a beautiful evolution, developing even greater aromatic complexity over time. Rated 91/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested in 15kg perforated boxes. Direct pressing of whole grapes and fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Aged on lees for 7 months, 50% in vats and 50% in 500L barrels.
