Wine:
Fresh and full-bodied, the 2021 white Meursault Les Vieilles Vignes benefits from a blend of plots combining limestone and marl terroirs. Aged in 500-liter barrels with very little new wood, this white delivers lovely notes of toasted almond and hazelnut with a floral touch (hawthorn, fern, lime blossom, verbena), butter and flint. The palate is rich, with delicate honey, citrus, white fruit and hazelnut aromas, fresh and unctuous, long and structured. Enjoy with shellfish or white meat, or why not fois gras au naturel?Vinification:
Hand-harvested, slow-pressed, aged on fine lees for 15 months in 500-l French oak barrels (10% new), alcoholic and malolactic fermentations with indigenous yeasts and bacteria, no stirring, blending of wines from each barrel in stainless steel vats, racking before fining and light filtration, bottling according to the lunar calendar.Non-certified biodynamic cultivation.
