Matias Riccitelli arguably produces the most exciting wines in Argentina! His estate in Mendoza, located in the Luján de Cuyo region, lies at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, at elevations ranging from 920 to 1120 meters. It's a favorable cradle for vine cultivation, where the winemaker works wonders with manual harvesting, rigorous sorting, and aging in French oak barrels.
Indeed, his wines are distinguished by their elegance, capturing all the refinement of this terroir, particularly in the case of Malbecs. Matias is none other than the son of Jorge Riccitelli, who was crowned the best winemaker of the year in 2012 by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Today, one might wonder if the son hasn't already surpassed the father!
