Originating from the fine terroirs of Ampuis, nestled between the Côte Blonde and Côte Brune, the 2021 red Côte Rôtie Prélude commands respect with a perfect balance between maturity and aging. It's a lovely Syrah, with scents of black fruit and spices, featuring fresh tannins and a smoky finish, and sophisticated aging that will easily carry it through the next 5 to 6 years.Vinification:
Hand-harvested, totally destemmed.Aged for 20 months in barrels, including 10% new barrels and 90% one- to four-wine barrels.
