Wine:
The 2022 White Vin de France Muscat N°2,5 is a Muscat à petits grains from clay-schist terroir, harvested late to retain its natural sugars. This golden-hued sweet wine, aged in demijohns, features a deliberately oxidative character with pure notes of quinine and rancio. The palate offers a dense juice with bitter orange flavors and remarkable energy, showcasing an impressive sugar management, without oak aging, and an endless finish. Pair it with candied orange peels, a chocolate-orange dessert, or a citrus salad, or enjoy it simply at the end of a meal. Sublime! Rated 95/100 by the Selection Committee and RVF.Vinification:
Harvested by hand. Clay soil and schist subsoil. Whole-harvest pressing, no settling, indigenous yeast fermentation. Late harvest at 21°C potential, natural stop of fermentation at 13.5%. Residual sugar: 120 g/l. Light filtration.Certified organic and biodynamic wine (Biodyvin).
