It lives up to its name! The 2016 Red Coup de Foudre by Roc seduces from the start with its notes of truffles and graphite and its perfectly ripe and balanced texture. On the palate, the freshness of the vintage asserts itself, signing a merlot-cabernet duo of just the right proportion between density and minerality. This is undoubtedly a very beautiful expression of the right bank, a tasty vintage to be discovered now with a beautiful shoulder of lamb or a hunting dish. Manual harvesting. Total destemming, vinification in concrete tanks for the Merlot and in barrels for the Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels after blending.Certified organic wine.
